THE CONCEPT

From my first couple times listening to the demo, I knew we needed to make a video for this song. Guilty Pleasures from the upcoming Adulting album (Happy Fucking Congratulations), is track that really takes you on a journey. The band quickly developed a strong concept for the video: it would follow Stan riding his bike while tripping on mushrooms (an experience that inspired the song) and rotoscope animation would be key to the style of the video.

The band and the crew made a huge effort on this video, and went to painstaking lengths to honor the initial vision behind the video.

In the making of the music video, we challenged ourselves with the animation and the various techniques used. It was an equally exciting and nerve-racking process to attempt something totally new to us. I think that the result was a great success.
